Synopsis
The Citadel is a glittering megacity where the media holds court. Idols, consumers, and even politicians bow to its whim. Machines do what humans cannot; computers are the new masterminds. Everyone else is blissfully unaware of what it takes to win a war. But in the provinces, the people are uneasy, and where there is a score there will be music.

Characters
Teagan Zheng
Age: ~20s
Blood type: O
Bio: After finally finding work in a web cafe, Teagan is ready to immerse herself in her new life: selcas, promotions, and the occasional cup of coffee. Well, almost ready. Her network of eyes hasn't been shut down, her nails are a wreck, and she still has ties to a government conspiracy. With the netizens at her heels and the authorities at every turn, she has no choice but to turn to the Spire Corporation for help, the media giant that she's been secretly hacking into. And its director is no other than the one who orchestrated Ignatius Ryu's sudden suicide.
Alistor Ryu
Age: ~20s
Blood type: AB
Bio: Voted "Most Altruistic Idol," Alistor isn't exactly the most inconspicuous of all people. Every comment he posts is reposted over a thousand times, and every product he endorses sells well. He is a conscientious citizen, can dance, and protests injustices violently. A bit too violently, if you ask his friends, but he doesn't actually have friends anymore, not since a mech fired on a crowd without orders. His father, the maker, disappeared soon after, leaving an encrypted message on the remains of the mech. Now Alistor must somehow convince Teagan to crack the code and uncover what really happened that summer night.
Ricker Lei
Age: ~20s
Blood type: ??
Bio: Born in Lesser Guifei Province and raised in the outskirts of the Citadel, there is little about mechs that Ricker doesn't know. His fame spreads in the night markets, where the prime minister asks him to join the New Army. He declines––he can't stand veeps. Branded as a traitor and under house arrest, he is desperate to find a way to get out of the city he so despises.
